well who ever sold you a auto tranny filter is a retard cause honda does not use one.

all you do is pull the plug,let it drain, and fill it back up. there should be a small dipstick on the left side of the motor way down, but in the front. pour in your oil there. now the drain plug, turn your wheels to the left. look in at the tranny (passenger side) there is a bolt. use an extension on your socket wrench to get it off, it does not need a socket.
