Believe me spending $300 on the VTEC AFC on a SOHC is like adding a new spark plug to your car. I think it's worthless on a SOHC unless you are running some forced induction.
Dyno runs are like $80/hour for about 3-4 runs. And that doesn't include the person tuning the VTEC AFC.
I would suggest suspension work instead
