You mean the conversion? Technically it isn't legal for the rear red reflector light to blink.

Legally there has to be red reflector facing back and to the back side. Incase the light is off and another car's headlight hits the car it will warn that there is a car there.

Same thing for the amber reflector up front. The light is there at night as parking light. All DOT approved cars have this. The light doesn't have to be behind the reflector but you'll always see amber light from the side of the car at night in the front and red light from the side at night in the rear
