tks a lot for the info, one problem i ran across is whether to buy an Acura 1.7EL or Accord Sedan 2003. The accord seems to have a tranny problem check:

And the civic/1.7EL seems to decline in quality and both cars are starting to scare me off from buying a honda/acura. Now is the quality questionable just for ones coming out of American plants?
