I still think they should have went w/ a linear spring. having my spring coils sit on each other and possibly hitting each other arent worth it. =\

one thing to think about. I read in a TSB somewhere that one of the 4th gen accords trims/years might have stock coil wrapping of some sort on the springs or something. I might look into that if I have time.

The problem w/ using the lower rubber piece ("silencer") off the stock spring/struts is that my new perch is flat, wheres the stock one was kinda a molded cone. =\
