for 5th gens you do not need to remove the bumper, but you do need to remove the fender lining on the pasenger side. Removing the wheel isnt necessary, but it makes things a lot easier, or even jacking up the side gives a bit more room.

You need a phillips screwdriver for the fender lining and some patience. You need sockets/ratchet or wrenches to remove the resonator and stock intake. A flathead for the hose clamps.

follow the instructions carefully, the only hard steps are probably getting the resonator out, and figuring out which lines to cap and move around.
