nissan was never a performance only brand...that would be ferrari or porsche...nissan did have lots of performance cars but they weren't cutting edge with twist beam rear axle and a big v6...similar to what a pontiac is...not high performance but a capable stoplight warrior...and lots of suvs and trucks...several years of sentras didn't even include an se-r model...in fact infiniti didn't have any performance models or true rwd sports sedans until 21st century

honda is no performance brand either but those that think that was nissan's core purpose and continues to be need to look back and consider that statement again
