The little silver tab that you push up to unlock, or down to lock. Thieves can sometimes work a wire through the edge of the door and reach down and pull up on that tab, unlocking the doors.
Even if they were able to do that wouldn't the alarm go off when they opened the door? Also I was told by Acura when I bought my car that all 00+ Acuras had a computer chip in the key so the car would not start without the key. This is why it costs so much to replace a key.
