Wouldn't that throw the speedo off even more? The stock tire is 107.25 mm tall, the 205/50 is 102.5, and the 195/50 is 97.5
The reasoning I got was because they are cheaper than the others, but are there any drawbacks? I just realized that a Potenza S-03 is $114 in 205/50 but $79 in 195/50.

the reading wont be different, the 205 is WIDTH, not sidewall height. the 205 is for 7inch wide, i dunno why someone would want a 195 which is obvously an inch smaller in width = less traction :dunno:
