well seeing as that last months SCC had a car with 22 psi daily....on a b18b with a blockguard...stock rods, stock pistons....they mae over 300hp on the dyno with that car. won their class at World Import Challenge in that car last (to be DQ'd for running an 11.8 without a cage)...and I have worked with the owner of the car, the prvious car tuned by her boyfriend was a b18c that made even more power on stock rods and pistons as well. i would refer you to other more techniical sites such as hondavision.com and honda-tech.com and you will find more people who actually own 300whp B series without internal build ups.
I t was releeved with a block guard, thats a lot when you build a motor. You dont just wake up one morning asay," I'm getting my motor releeved today and have it by the weekend." They made that car sound so simple to build and from experience, a GSR cant hold 14 psi for more then a summer. just my .02$
