Me and friends of mine have used them many times... and they have lasted for over a year now. They are 25$ for two pairs and I would put money on the fact that they are brighter then yours. And I know they are whiter... I have compared them side by side. If you are worried about oncoming traffic... like I give a rats ass, it's not that big of a deal.
I got Silverstars after much of the same debate over PIAA's mainly because of price and most people seemed to think there weren't much of a difference. I'm very happy with them and they are soo much brighter then stocks or even the Cool Blues I had way back. They are definitely worth the price.
You should give a rats ass about oncoming traffic what if it were your mother, father, sister or brother you blinding into a tree on the other side of the road.
