Oh yeah. If you clean your engine with a wet cleaner (as opposed to foam), definitely, cover your distributor cap and wires with plastic. Replace that cap and the rotor and make sure it's sealed real tight. If water's been getting in there for awhile, you probably have some corrosion on the contacts. Don't bother cleaning it, by the way, if it's leaking, it's either warped (not sealing) or slightly cracked. Replace that cap.

I've got a feeling it is water in the distributor. Today it was really raining hard and this problem happened a lot today. Also, I was talking to a guy with a 92 accord and he had the same problems and that's what it turned out to be. I suspect I got water in there during an engine cleaning.
