I understand nothing is fool-proof against a top-notch thief. But I thought the whole point of these bright red gadgets was to buy yourself some time and deter some of the less crafty thieves. If a thief wants to cut my wheel, bypass my autolock, AND cut my handbrake, then he's going to steal my car regardless. But anyone who just plans to slim-jim the door lock tabs and hotwire the car in 30 or so seconds is going to have to think twice.
