aight cool, you should only use a quart, runs for about $20 for ppg paint. with clear use about the same thing b/c with a quart of clear, and you mix it 1/1 or even 1/2 with the hardener depending on which brand you go with, the clear should have a kit, ie, clear, hardener, and reducer.

wetsand everything down first with a light grit paper and just skuff it up a bit so the paint will stick, and what i said about if you mess up, it doesnt apply here since you are doing it with a spray gun.
