Agreed. Sounds like a timing problem. Changed the belt recently?

Adjust your timing on the distributor. Loosen the two bolts (12mm) on the top and turn it all the way towards the firewall. Then, start turning it back towards the front of the car til you here the car idling right. Take her out for a spin and see how she acts. If you see improvement then just advance your timing a little more.
