I have a MSD blaster coil and distributor... I noticed a pretty big difference from stock... it pulls harder and runs a hell of a lot smoother, especially when I'm nearing the red-line. My stock ignition is killing the true performance of them though, I want to get a MSD SCI next.
In the EX models, wirring the coil is a pain... you need to run wires from inside the distributor (positive and negative) from where the stock coil connected. I ran them through small holes I made in a large part of the rubber gasket, so water would not penetrate. In the lower model accords, its a little easier, as they had external coils to begin with.
