Wrong! Clinton was the first to fight back against Al Quaeda bases in Afghanistan, the Sudan and a couple of other places. In addition, the Clinton administration investigated, arrested, prosecuted and jailed a number of people who were responsible for terrorist attacks. FBI investigations begun under the Clinton administration were abruptly shut down when Bush came to power. In particular, FBI agent John O'Neoll was hot on the trail of three suspects from the USS Cole bombing. When they came to the US to learn to fly jets, O'Neill wanted to arrest them; Bush said "no". And what happened?
What happened...9/11.
Those three men who were within our grasp went on to fly airliners into the WTC and Pentagon, thanks to George W. Bush.
Now Bush is going after people with the weapons and the motive to hit us again...
What weapons? What motive? If you're talking about Iraq, the "weapons" are nothing but heresay at this point. Sane people don't start war on nothing but rumors. Even if Iraq did have the weapons, they have no way of getting them all the way to the US. Oh, let's not forget that Iraq never "hit us" a first time, so to say "hit us again" is dishonest.

You are so off base with all your information...I hardly consider using cruise missiles to take out a couple tents and some camels in Afghanistan counts as "going after" Al Quaida. There were also no FBI investigations that were shut down under Bush...way to make that one up. The reason that those three got away was because when the INS was given their names they lost them. You can't blame Bush for that. Maybe if Clinton had had the balls to go and get these terrorists they would have not gotten to us first. Be thankfull we now have a president that is doing that. And we do know I raq has weapons...they were discovered during the last round of inspections...now they are missing and Iraq cannot account for them nor prove they were destroyed. And remember Muhammad Atta met with Iraqi officials in Prague before flying into the WTC...I doubt it was a courtesy visit. And even if their is no definative proof that Iraq had anyting to do with terrorist attacks agains AMerica or American interests I don't want to give Saddam the chance for their to be a first time...and you shouldn't either!
