Yeah, I could be wrong about the Neuspeed Race but if a car sits low enough, the bumpstops will also absorb shock/resist compression (as they do when the shock fully compresses). If the email the person posted a while back was real, supposedly the spring manufacturers take this added "spring rate" into consideration and design the spring with the bumpstop in mind.
