Azenis: Seems to be a bit of mythology going here.

They're hardly R-compounds and not designed for track use only.

They're summer performance tyres. There are many of us who will use them through the winters, but you will notice that as the temperatures decrease, so does the Azenis gripping ability decrease.

Azenis in the water: Out of the box, you'll probably think they're fine and wonder what the fuss was all about. However, as the tread wears, you will have more trouble with standing water and heavy downpours because the tread wears down quickly, and it's blocky to start with.

These are definitely not all season tyres; however, the performance for the dollar is so good that almost all of us would love to have them on a daily driven ITR.

Provided you recognise that it's a summer performance tyre use it for that, it's the only tyre you'll need on your ITR until you're ready for R-compounds.

205-50-15 Azenis are pretty wide. Closer to other manufacturer's 215 or even 225. The 215-45-16 size is perfect on a stock ITR with 16" wheels.
