The bumpstop will affect the height of the car only if the springs allow the car to sit low enough for the car to be resting on the bumpstops. At stock height or not much lower, they won't come into play. With some lowering springs (I think Neuspeed Race is one of them), the bumpstops are touching. I remember seeing a post where a Neuspeed rep told them that the spring rate and design took the stock bumpstop into consideration.
