I read on a sight somewhere that strut bars like Polyurethane bushings are just for support if you have upgraded other parts of your suspension. I imagine that it helps keeps the rigidity throughout if you are upgrading to stiffer springs, shocks, swaybars, bigger tires etc. the strut bar probably keeps the everthing together better.

Hey V6master, got my comptech swaybars, H&R springs and Tokico's. Just saving a little before I put them in. Can't wait!
