The crossover is VERY noticeable. You can hit 8k the day the car is unloaded off the dock...Honda tests each and every car after they leave the assembly line to make sure they make advertised horsepower. That's right...they take that car and run it right up to redline with absolutely zero miles on it. That is how high the tolerances are on these engines.
