I filled up Tuesday at $1.329; the next day (Weds), that gas station had $1.319. Oh well, $0.01 wasn't that big of a deal.
But take you're naiive azz out there to the pumps today and you'll be paying $1.499. Our tanks are 17.1 gallons (yes, usually only get 15 gallons in at a fill-up). So
you multiply $0.18 by 15 gallons.
Sounds like $2.70 to me.
Aren't Big Macs buy-one-get-one-for-a-penny this month. Top that off with a $0.50 can of soda and $2.70 sounds like a days lunch to me.
