If you end up not doing it yourself, and want a shop recommendation, Motor-Works, run by Greg Skolnik, up in Rockville MD is pretty near you (up 355) and extremely good. Their prices are reasonable, and they do immaculate work. The only catch - make sure you tell them you ONLY want brakes - or else they'll keep your car an extra day and catalogue every single thing which might go wrong in the next year and try to get you to spring for them, no matter how much it adds up to.

For Northern VA, try The Radiator Shop, in Falls Church; it's attached to Falls Church Motors, a used car sales place. The owner of the shop (which fixes EVERYTHING, but specializes in radiators), Steve, had a few Honda/Acura specialists when I went there - it was the only place I would take by 92 GSR. They also do quality work.
