How do the headlight accent LEDs work? Theyre on when the car is off right? Seems like they would burn out extremely quick. I was thinking about going with the silver. What do you guys think?

Anyone know what the interior mirror bulbs are?

Also---does anyone know how to change the bulb color of the clock? Is that a wedge bulb?
See if I can nail these.

Headlight accents are just leds that are on when your parking lights are on or however you choose to switch them. It's just an LED that glows in the housing to make it look purty, and to piss the cops and other drivers off.

The Mirror bulbs are a strange size(they're like the dome lamp but smaller) I couldn't find them anywhere so I boke the glas portion and put two LEDs in there with resistors an kept them the same length. You have to get trick with it.

The clock. Pull it out and look. It's a #74 bulb, also dubbed "a peanut bulb" it's very very tiny. If you use the methods that I changed the other peanut bulbs on my site you can figure out how to do the clock. You have to play with the cutoff angle because the clock uses oblique lighting or indirect lighting however you want to call it and you have to get the led to try and shine to the side instead of straight ahead. I opened up the clock and painted the inside of the "box" where the bulb sits with chrome touch up paint to get some relfection going on. I don't say exactly how to do the clock on my site, but I tell how to change hte rest of the dash and you can be creative with the clock.

page 2 of my how to shows the bulb modification http://www.igd4u.com/modules.php?op=...=article&sid=3

this is a modified peanut bulb with a blue LED instead of the incandescent crap yellow bulb. I'm getting ready to change my whole dash out to white LEDs very soon though

and the final deal

and the whole effect(don't mind my phone, to the eye it's the same color as the rest, but the LEDs are in direct sight so it makes the digital camera oversaturate, just like the blue accents on my deck, on the pic above you can see the bottom ones are very blue, but on this pic they are white like my phone, that's just the camera freaking out)
