And who are you? Do I have to defend my veiw to someone who thinks in a completely different way? Do I have to explain my beleifs that someone wouldn't understand? Whats the use in doing so if, no matter what I say, 97% of the people on this thread are just going to pull out that "damn liberal" b.s.
I've said it once, and I've said it a thousand times, I don't hate this country. I love living in America, where I can live my life and do what I want to do. But what right does our government have to tell other countrys what they can and cannot do? Because we have all the money? Because we are better than them? Thats a bunch of crap, because we are no better than any country. There's no standard. It's something you shouldn't judge.
Maybe Iraq and N. Korea are a threat, but you think we can't work it out? You think maybe if we didn't have assloads of troops around either country, and US companys digging in the middle east, and the US's constant and uncondissional support of Isreal and their stupid mistakes, that the middle east and N. Korea would hate us? My problem with my government is the imperialistic attitude it has. It's the same thing this very country was upset about with england during the 19th and early 20th centery.
And the reason I'm so against this war.... Whats it going to solve? And for what cost? A few hundred thousand lives, on either, if not both sides? Do we have any idea what we are getting ourselves into, and the consiquences a war of this magnitude may bring. Maybe instead of pissing people off, we should try and make them happy. Life put us all hear on this earth, God forbid we make it pleasent. And sure, some of you will say "but in reality, things aren't that easy" and sure, they aren't. But that attitude doesn't help.
This war is just going to be one step closer....
