ECU upgrades primarily benefit cars that come "corked" aka. highly restricted from the factory (VW/Audi 1.8T comes to mind). Those cars typically gain anywhere from 20 - 50 whp from a simple chip replacement. Why? Because they come highly restricted from the factory (boost, fuel curve are bound by emissions). On a stock honda you don't really gain much (if anything) from a generic ECU upgrade. Leaning out the fuel delivery on the top end might net you a few horses, but that's something you should do with hondata/AFC, not a generic sp00m/mugen chip.
