Yes. The speedo will read 1.6 percent high with the 205/50 and will read 3.3 percent high with the 195/50.

Yes. With its smaller diameter, it is like using shorter gears. Acceleration will improve slightly within any gear, gas mileage will be slightly poorer, top speed may be less, and shift points will be at slightly slower road speeds.
