A squealing is usually a vibration in the pads. I always put anti-squeal stuff on the back of the pads. It just dampens vibration. I had a motorcycle rear brake that was squealing something horible and I found out the caliper bolt was loose. It wouldn't hurt to have it checked out. Sometimes it's the nature of the beast.
