I've had indiglos for almost a year, and I haven't had any problems. As a matter of fact, I get alot of compliments on them. I installed mine myself; they are not to difficult to install:
1. Remove your dashboard ( its not as hard as it sounds; its just a matter of removing screws).
2. Once your dashboard is removed, slip your hand around the back of the instrument cluster, and disconnect EVERYTHING (speedometer cable and all other wiring).
3. Once all wiring is disconnected, take out the instrument cluster and remove the back cover ( be very careful, because the clear plastic over the gauges cracks very easily).
4. Once the back cover is removed, you will have full access to the gauge faces. Slip your indiglo faces ontop of the factory gauge faces WITHOUT TOUCHING THE NEEDLES...I'll repeat it again, DO NOT TOUCH OR BUMP THE NEEDLES !!!
5. screw the gauge faces in with the holes and screws provided ( or double sided tape can work too).
6. Run all of the indiglo gauge wires, from the back of the instrument cluster to the bottom of the drivers side area ( or where ever you want to mount the switch).
7. Put the back cover back into place, and reconnect all of the wiring to the cluster (make sure the speedometer cable snaps back in, if it is not fully connected, will NOT get accurate speed readings).
8. put the cluster back into place, and then replace the dashboard.
9. find the power wire that goes to your headlight switch around your steering column ( you'll have to remove the steering column cover), and connect the indiglo power wire to it. Then connect the ground wire to a nice piece of metal ( I connected my ground wire to the metal plate right above the pedals).
10. replace the steering column cover, and you are done ! The whole thing should take you about an hour and a half.
