Check the free play between the slave cylinder shaft and the clutch lever. There should be a little bit of free play when the clutch is fully engaged. (Foot off the clutch pedal)
(note: the free play adjustment could be at the master cylinder where the clutch pedal attaches to the master cylinder shaft; search on youtube)
