Fluids(liquids, gases) flow quickest when it is laminar meaning no turbulence. Everything flows nice and smooth. Think of laminar flow as straight parallel likes and turbulence flow as random squiggles(sorry bout the spelling and the terminology:fawk: that flow around, in the turbulence flow, the air gets "in its own way". Most is moving forward while some tries to oppose itself as it swirls.

Simply, laminar = more air out quicker = more power:thumbup:
even in this case, id be willing to bet the gains(if any that are due to the type of bends in the piping) would be so minimal it wouldn't be noticed unless u were out on the drag strip counting tenths and hundredths of seconds while running forced induction too. Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to get a dyno run? I would like to run my car w/existing setup and then again after dc header and catback.
