One of the Car & Driver staff agreed to this, but I think that the FX45 does share some styling details of the dearly departed (at least to me) BMW M Coupe.
Impressive performance for an SUV, but it compromises on it's utiliy (small cargo area). In such an application, I rather buy a 350Z, save a few bucks it cost to make this thing so high performance, and buy a Pathfinder and spend a total of an extra $20K to get the best of both worlds.
I also find it funny that during prototype testing they taped all the badges up so nobody would know it was an Infiniti. Anybody who is anybody could have looked inside, spotted the signature clock - it would have been a dead giveaway.
