you have to remove the cluster

slip the gauges over them, stick on with double sided tape
find 3 wires, a power source for when you want the gauges to come on (i used a test light and started poking), a constant 12+, and a ground.

then mount the dimmer

and put cluster back.

do a search, those were crappy directions.
