Performance in what way!? Particularly, what type of application?

Stack batteries weigh about 30lbs. A racer would want the lightest battery that can still maintain an operation vehicle such as the that Spoon battery and the few others that are out there.
Daily drivers need something reliable and can last long where batteries like Sears' Diehard series excel.
And, car audio enthusiasts desire something else from batteries where they last a bit longer than most batteries in operating audio systems and need to have their engines off (ie. Optima/SVR)

Yes... Because most Optima batteries are so big, Optima does make a battery that fits in the OEM battery space of Civics which has to be specially ordered. Although Optima performs better than SVR, SVR has had a battery available to specially fit Civics.
