i'm not sure how it is on a civic (i'm about to find out), but I've done it before on other cars, usually you just need your basic metric tool kit(sockets and wrenches plus extensions), a torque wrench, and a few extra super sized sockets to fit the driveshaft nut that holds that darned shaft to the hub. some miscellaneous parts might be nice, like two jack stands, a floor jack, few blocks of wood and wheel chocks.


oh yeah, the most important tool that will hinder you if it's not all there, your common sense.
