I have a DC Sports adapter on mine and it reduced my shift throw quite a bit. They are pretty easy to install, but they stick up into the shift boot a little and hit the front of the console when you go into 3rd and 5th. If you just shave the console where the adapter hits it, it won't hit and it will work great. You won't see the shaved part either cuz it's on the inside
