Yeah, that's the way I have broken in Hondas/Acuras since we bought our first new one in 1982. We have had a couple for 100000 miles + of trouble free driving. Also we stick pretty much to the recommendations in the owner's manual for all the services, including oil changes. Only thing the cars go back to the dealer for are warranty claims, all other service work is performed by the mechanics at a garage we have been using for the last 12 + years.
