thats a good point. I also heard that after putting the gasket on, you would want to run your car and retorque anyways. No I didn't replace the head bolts, but that shouldn't have anything to do with the headgasket leak. It will still bolt the gasket securely.
Im sure the gasket is the right one and it is on properly. Also, I got a thicker head gasket to compensate for the shaved head. No c/r problem.
