I think if he put the RMS watts to it and tuned it properly it would have "bumped his whole car" so to say.
Some of us don't need to hear our cars for blocks or shake the nieghborhood.
My stereo is for my enjoyment and not other people a block away. Anyways depends what you want cause some woofers are great for spl and some are better for sound quality. Also depends how much you want to spend, trunk space ect.
