as long as you drive somewhat careful in the rain you are ok. the intake part is so high up in that fender anyway you gotta go thru some pretty nasty **** to clog it up.

BTW, Honda charges 2 dollars for a pack of 10 of those little screws that yhold the fender lining on. I know this for a fact cause i bought some. And if you do take out the fender lining, it would be a good Idea to replace those old screws with new ones
