happened to my friend's cavalier. we got bored one day, bought a hairdryer, took the fan out, wired it to switch and stuck in his intake. the power going to it didnt even make it spin, just the air getting sucked in made it spin. anyways, the plastic fan snapped and got sucked into the engine.. and today his car is sitting in his driveway, number of problems.. biggest is no tranny
