I got an offset brochure with my H&R Springs. It shows a nice black audi with stock 17" rims offset a tad.
What's up with these things? I heard they can be bad because you're pushing the wheels out from under the axle weight or whatever they're supposed to be supporting. You know, you're pushing the tires that are supposed to be supporting the car out away from the car that they are supposed to be supporting.
They look pretty good, though. And even if you ot a deeper rim, it would not "offset" the tire. But I suppose you could offset a deeper rim further because the deeper rim still keeps alot of the tire under the car when you space it out. Like if you got an 8" deep rim and spaced it out 1", it'd be the same support as a 7" rim not spaced at all. You know, there's still 7" of rim under the car no matter which scenario you choose.
