if a block is cracked you don't "fix" it, you get another one. Fortunatelly, as far as I know, everything that is on the B17, is the same as the B16, except the pistons and crank (ie, the block is the same), you can always find those for super cheap. I'd either look for another B18C1 block (like someone said) or if you are really looking to save money slap a B16 bottom end on there. I guarantee it'll be cheaper to get a bottom end than to try and fix the one your mom broke.
