There's a difference between quality and reliability. Chrysler has improving reliability. For example, VW's have interiors that are top-quality, they're very nice materials, but their reliability sucks ass. The A4 platform mates (Jetta/Golf/GTi) constantly have window regulators that fail.
Here's a little anecdote: One of my friends, on the day he went and picked up his Jetta, the dealer told him the only way he could get out was to roll down the window and open it from the outside, cause the inside handle broke and it'd be a week before they could get a new one. When I pick up a car, I want it to be perfect.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say would probabily be best summed in this analogy thing:
VW will give you a nice, chrome door handle that feels nice but doesn't work... Chrysler will give you a nice, silver painted door handle that feels a little cheaper but works.
I'll take the cheap but works, please.
BTW: What happened to the Waving Smilie?
