What you're saying regarding the intake makes sense,if that's how you're planning on using the wrap.Those wraps aren't the greatest for your headers though,I was warned by a local tuner shop not to use them because they actually trapp moisture and will eventually rot out your header (stainless or ceramic).They did say however that they do work and that they would order them if I still wanted them.Even though my headers are ceramic coated they recommended going with Swain coatings (or another company,I forget).They do a more extensive job of coating your headers.Hope this helps you or anyone else out there.
