um im not really sure what you mean... the bung on the oil pan was welded up. the only part that is leaking is where the fittin actually goes into the oil pan. the fitting from the turbo itself isnt leaking... how would i know if the person that welded up my oil pan didnt seal it up all the way? im thinking of dropping the oil pan and gettin it rewelded.
If it's leaking around the fitting in the pan, then I would assume the weld isn't completely sealed. The best thing to do is to drop the pan and have it rewelded, like you said. Or, you can try your luck with some high temp silicone adhesive like Permatex or Hondabond. Many people run bulkhead fittings in their pans. They just drill the hole, and bolt up the bulkhead fitting,a nd seal it with high temp silicone sealant.
