A couple points made. In the world of Honda, you either hate them or you like them. I think crossing Saturn buyers over is a bit optimistic. They enjoy their large panel gaps and plastic doors.

And I don't think it will hurt Honda's business either. The CR-V offers a lot more than just a powertrain over Saturn's VUE. It offers a better built and ergonimcally designed interior, quieter ride, etc.

By the way, anybody read Car & Driver's review of the 2003 Saturn Ion? "This is by far the most disappointing domestic in the last ten years."
