Transmission failure
My CEL came on again. On the way to the dealership the transmission seemed to have problems finding first gear and was shifting roughly. I explained this to the service rep when he wrote up paperwork. Forty minutes later, the Honda service manager told me that the CEL came on because there was a problem with the transmission. They are going to rebuild it. The used car sales manager told them his department would pick up the tab and gave me a 2001 V6 coupe as loaner. I guess my car fell within that 5% or maybe it is just normal wear and tear. Any idea how many miles to expect out of a rebuilt tranny?
