Well, the show was yesterday. I only sold a couple of things. It was a good experience, but I don't think I had the right product for the crowds. But I do have an idea of what to do for that type of crowds if I get the chance again. I also was able to talk to a local artist, and I'm going to see about getting some of his artwork in a pen. It'll be a complete new thing for me since I'll actually be making the blanks that I use to make the pens, but should be fun. And I definitely can see them selling better than what I had.
The other bonus is that I have built up an inventory so people can see more of what I can do, and what options they have. I've already gotten orders based on what I made because I wouldn't let people buy them before the show. It also gave me a chance to do other products, like bottle openers and wine bottle stoppers, which people appear to be interested in.
